Uncle Shane came to visit the weekend that doctors expected Nora to arrive. As it turned out, he just visited with her in utero, but he did return to meet her in the flesh. And to sing to her.
Before heading to church, Shane held Nora and sang to her for nearly an hour straight. I think she'll come to recognize him by his melodic voice, as her brother has.
Grandma Caldwell was here, too, and stayed through the week to lend a hand. She ended up cleaning all of the carpets throughout the house (God bless her!) but always found time for a little R&R with Nora.
